Jewelry Care

With the right care, your jewelry may be enjoyed for a lifetime. Follow these simple rules when handling and cleaning your jewelry to preserve the integrity of the materials and craftsmanship.

Cleaning Your Jewelry

The best way to clean your jewelry is with a mild solution of soap and warm water, to remove any dirt or natural oils from the body. Then polish with a soft, lint free cloth.

Some jewelry cleaners contain ammonia which may crack or frost a gemstone or pearl, so it is never a good idea to clean pearls with a jewelry cleaner.

Things to Avoid

Try to keep all jewelry away from hair sprays, body lotions and perfume sprays. The chemicals found in these substances can be harmful to your pearls and gemstones. It is also best to keep jewelry stored in individual compartments of a jewelry box or hanging separated on a jewelry rack to avoid tangling and scratching.

Give them a nice comfortable home and they will be happy forever.

Please be considerate of your jewelry, and wear it often!
