This is the opening of my journal and thoughts to you.  I won’t ramble on and on with incoherent philosophies of gems and their mystical powers, but I would rather comment on my sartorial thoughts and observations of jewelry and gems and travels.

I was at an informal summer party last night and I saw so many women wrap in long ropes of gems and pearls.  It is a great look over wonderful loose summer dresses.  These were really long and multiple strands of necklaces, past the waistline in some cases.  Nothing was heavy.  They all looked like so much fun to wear.
